After a couple of weeks of downtime because of technical issues with the blog and access to WordPress, I thought it would only be right to return with something substantial and thanks to breakbeat heavyweights Krafty Kuts and Guau, that’s exactly what I’ve got. Bad Bwoy is their brand new tune and Krafty’s signature funky groove and Guau’s fierce breakbeat stance merge together to create a badass mother that ain’t gonna take no crap off of nobody! When you’re out, out, it’s one of those tracks you really want to hear when you really want to dance.
As well as being a bit of a banger, Bad Bwoy is also the 300th release on Guau’s superb 83 imprint. Like any good label owner, Guau has put in the hard yards and in his case, it has all been very worth it. 83’s huge and mightily impressive back catalogue holds some of the best breakbeat tunes on the planet and if you’ve yet to check it out, it’ll feel like Christmas has come early once you start tucking in.
