Whilst many of us know and love The Allergies for their funky exploits, the duo have, on occasion, served up some stunning blues influenced tracks and on their new Reconcile EP, we’ve got four of them to get stuck into including a brand new one!
Leading with the title track of the EP, The Allergies once again team up with long-time collaborator Charles Morgan on their brand new bluesy number Reconcile. On point as ever, Charles’ blues and gospel vocal combines with throbbing drums, pulsating brass and bass supplied by The Allergies to create an understated energy that’ll leave you feeling like you’ve done a near 4-minute sprint by the time it’s done. The following three tracks on the EP include The Allergies previous two singles Treat You Right and Sometimes I Wonder and God Walked Down from their debut album As We Do Our Thing.
