Volume 14 of Shaka Loves You’s superb Loose Joints series is as action-packed and disco-driven as all of the volumes to have gone before. Highly grooved and ready for a good time is their rework of Dancin’ by Crown Heights Affair, while their rework of If You Can’t Dance To This by Dennis Coffey is sure to keep the party heads on their toes for the duration. The coolest cat of them all is their infectious and samba-infused rework of If You Think You’ve Got Soul by Betty Wright. Nothing but winners to be found here, folks.
