Plump DJs fans the world over have been sitting tight while waiting for news of when their long-awaited Replumped album would be released and as some of you already know, the first single from it was released just over a week ago! News first broke of the remastered album of classics some 2, or maybe even 3 years ago, but because Lee and Andy encountered miles of unexpected red tape, things had to be put on hold. Thankfully, the time has come to start rolling out the music and the first of the remastered gems we can get our hands on is The Push.
We originally released this in 2000, and were amazed with its reaction, we were still experimenting with our sound and it was the early days of the newly emerging breakbeat scene, it crossed over in to many other genres DJ boxes and was supported at radio by the likes of Pete Tong, Annie Nightingale and Zane Lowe to name a few. It also ended up on a Levis commercial in Japan, used on the trailer for the film 51 State and an advert for Thomson Directory in the UK!
