So, track one: The Outsider has that mid 90s Breakbeat Hardcore thang going on with cool samples from ‘The Bouncer’ plus some just darn good pianos and keys n’ ting! You can hear that grayzone Hardcore/Jungle vibe very clearly which makes this writer feel happy and yet kinda sad that things moved so fast from 90s rave to Drum and Bass in such a short time.
‘Chill Tip’ has a touch of Force Mass Motion to it- lively, stabby and heading in the direction of post 95 (Happy) Hardcore.
