Breakbeat legend Jason Laidback teams up with his literal partner in crime SIMM on their new breakbeat single on Toast & Jam and together, hand in hand, they’re taking us to the Promised Land. After the flanged-out and trippy intro, we’re met by a heavy kick, acid synth and tough and crisp drums which all create an intense backdrop for SIMM’s heavenly vocals to shine with a nostalgic resplendence. Such is the wave of euphoria that their new track creates, ravers will either soak it up and burn it off while dancing, or stand rooted to the spot with their hands on their heads till they’re over the peak of it.
