If you’re yet to find out that The Nextmen have opened up a Bandcamp page under the name Fake Recordingz to house all of their excellent mashups and re-edits, it’s time to get excited right about now!
So far, The Nextmen have released nine Edit Packs albums each packed with nine tracks that cover a wide range of styles such as Funk, Soul, Disco, Reggae and Hip Hop. Work is now underway on volume 10 with the release of two brand new tracks that have recently surfaced on their Bandcamp page and one of them just happens to be this boogie-driven mashup of Marvin Gaye’s Heard It Through The Grapevine and Otis McDonald’s Our Way. If you ever needed a tempter to entice you over to the Fake Recordingz page, this one will do it!
