As many Hong Kong Ping Pong fans know, Morphosis from the trio is currently having his house renovated and for the time being, there are no Twitch streams or monthly Beating The Crates shows. To plug the gap until his house and studio are fully functional again, Morphosis will be sharing a few mixes that were recorded during peak lockdown. Not every show was recorded, but when he had something special lined up for those tuning in, the record button would be pressed.
One of those very mixes landed not too long ago and it’s a 2-hour all-classic vinyl special. Morphosis dug deep into his vinyl collection for this one and served up nostalgic treats by the bucket load from the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Future Sound of London, Mory Kante, The Freestylers, Underworld, Leftfield, The Prodigy and many, many more. If you’re of an age and know all of those names, this classy mixtape is sure to stir up memories of great times with great friends.
