When it comes to UK garage, we’ve been all about those bass-heavy, filth-filled face-melters of late because, well, we quite like a bit of that. On this occasion, however, Sekond Skin demonstrates that garage can be just as divine as it can be destructive. His stunning remix of Mind Games by Diamond Lights has all the hallmarks of a lush melodic breaks tune were it not for those distinctive crisp and skippy drums. There’s also a good lick of acid, smooth neo-soul vocals and speaker-shaking bass drops in the remix that’s so on the money, we just had to share it! Sekond Skin’s remix is out now on Yes Yes Records.
