This free bootleg from Stereo Underground of ‘The Gate’ by, Björk, is one of those tracks that takes me an absolute age to write about because it is so breathtakingly good. It’s intense beauty stops me in my tracks time and again as it pulls me in and sends my mind into outer space, or somewhere near there anyway. The words I need to find to describe it become lost in a wave of ear soothing and mind melting sounds that are piped straight into my ears via my headphones, which as I’ve found, is the best way to experience this incredible piece of work. If you’re gonna give it a spin, put everything hold for hold for the next 7 minutes and 32 seconds because this track deserves all of your attention and grab it, it will.
