It’ll only take a few moments after pressing play to be completely bowled over by this re-edit of Bettye Swann’s northern soul classic – Kiss My Love Goodbye – by Salisbury-based DJ Emma. Adding a few unique elements to create a slightly updated flavour and give life to Bettye’s stunning vocals once more, DJ Emma also adds some funky drums, which usher the track along at a dancefloor-friendly pace but are more respectful than rowdy. A gem this re-edit most definitely is and there are a few more over on DJ Emma’s Bandcamp page that are just as classy and well worth a listen!
