UK-based Samu3l is a house DJ who began his production journey about a year ago. His sound, both DJing and in his early productions, has been centred around deep house and progressive house, but on his latest release, he’s decided that if the beats aren’t broken, break them. The result of that decision appears to be something of an inspired one because what we have before us is an atmospheric, mesmerizing and jaw-dropping breaks re-edit of Atlantis vs Avatar’s trance classic Fiji. Rising from the horizon like the morning sun, its skyward journey lights up the sky that bit more as each second passes so that those beneath it can bask in its incredible glow. Getting you to listen to it is pleasure enough, no doubt about it, but the cherry on the cake is that it’s all yours for free!
