Since taking sole control of the Afghan Headspin alias back in 2011, breakbeat legend Jason Bull has stuck to his guns and maintained the hardcore sound that has served him so well. He could have easily adopted a more listener-friendly approach to his music production, but hardcore breaks are what he loves and it’s that love that makes his music so good!
Over the years, Jason has kept hardcore breaks fans raving hard with plenty of single and EP releases, but in the background, he had been working on a new album and just over a month ago, No One Dies landed and land hard it did on Soundsystem Bassrock. All of the influences and skills Jason had picked up and soaked up over the years have been spread thick across nine tracks and one of those is the track featured, You Got It Started. Ravey synths, a speaker-shattering bassline, a pitched-up vocal hook and uncompromising drums are not only the backbone of this monster breaks tune but also the other eight tracks that accompany it on the album. A ravers paradise No One Dies most definitely is!
