Despite all of his previous visits to the ward being on a downtempo funk, soul and instrumental hip-hop kind of vibe, this time he’s here to awaken our senses and shake a few poorly hooked baubles from the tree with his free 10-track techno L.P – Digital Pulse –.
As a producer with an eclectic taste in the music he listens to and makes, Maze Soundz has drawn on all of his knowledge and extracted all he needs from the extensive pallet of sounds in his mind to grab your attention and scarper with it into a world of heavy beats and vast and intriguing sonic soundscapes. Each track sucks you in its own unique way and if you’re a sucker for intensity, you’ll happily lap up every second of every track. The imposing and twisted – Ethereal Lixir – leads the way and sets an unrelenting pace for the pounding – Sinister Synthesis –, the peak-time belter – Nocturnal Pulse –, and others to follow.
