Known as legends to many, Lee Coombs, Nick Slater and Lanx, aka The Freakazoids, first met in the late ’80s. Their love of Electro, Funk and old-skool beats meant that their paths crossed on many occasions while DJing, performing and partying at Acid House parties and raves back in the day. After realizing that their passion for music was just as intense as each other, an alliance was formed under the name of The Freakazoids.
With all of the knowledge they’ve amassed over the years, the trio intends to deliver crisper and cleaner-sounding tracks using modern-day production techniques while always making sure that the authentic Electro bump and groove is the driving force. One of the best examples of The Freakazoids’ ethos can be found in their epic remix featured and if you are an Electro fan, you can expect the full works on this one!
