Squeaks and bleeps a plenty, mashup master Raj Marathe takes on Kent’s Headroc & Masterbreaks. This bromance started online with a mutual appreciation of each others work and so the beats were born! Renowned for his original tracks, bootlegs and rerubs, Raj’s dancefloor bombshells are set for maximum destruction!
Traptastic! Hungarian, twin brothers Dublic have done it again. DJs and producers from the underground scene of Budapest and not tying themselves to a particular genre, here we have 2 very different mashups. ‘Knas Cannon’ is a rude hair raiser to get the floor jumping, while ‘Gravel Pit’ Intro is a euphoric piece of ambient bass.
As if that wasn’t enough, they have unleashed their ‘Spring Shot’ mixtape which included a mammoth 70 tracks in 53mins. Proper, grimy, trap, sunshine music! This has got to be heard.

Pet them, eat them, ride them … everyone loves a bit of goat! Here, Worcester’s Sneaker & The Dryer and Toreba Spacedrift pay tribute to our bearded friends in ‘Goats Yelling Like Humans’. In this mashup we see the duo take their own twist on the infamous viral making it an electro breaks piece of naughtiness not to be missed. With front man Btz on vocals with a little help from Adam Sandler, this has gone through the roof! Maaawwwwww
Check out the awesome video to boot:
Way back in the “black and white” / “sepia” days, some men built a huge steel factory just outside Leeds city centre. Years later this was deemed to be a silly idea so some much cooler men turned it into a huge warehouse nightclub full of smoke, laser’s and bass instead of smelting pots! Introducing the “Beaverwork’s”. Much more like it eh!? Anyway, the point is thus: in a couple of weeks the “Eclectronica” crew invite you to join them in a celebration of many varieties in this amazing venue.

Broken Beat music in the EDM world has exploded into a kitchen sink soup of sub genre’s and wicked twisted bass lines. There is no doubt that Breaks are no longer dead! We have decided to let our resident Breakbeat aficionado Sychosis take the reigns and give you the best of the best each week in in all things broken and bassey! If you have something that you think fits the bill, send him a message on his Facebook listed below.
First up is Kimba out of San Francisco, with a healthy dose of the weird and wonderful with this electro (real electro not that stuff with all the fart noises) infused rerub or Gydyr’s Headless Hollow.
The sound of Diddy or Puff Daddy or P Puff Mini whatever he wants to be called this year makes most want to break out the shiny shirt. Luckily this edit of Chuckie and Diddy’s Hello, Good Morning is all dirt and no glitter! And that’s the only way South East Badboy and US Breakbeat kingpin Dj Frenzy knows how to do.
Calgary’s Dylan Kennedy is label boss to the major up and comer Atomic Zoo. The label has support from some huge names including Richie Hawtin, Far Too Loud, Lazy Rich, and Calvertron to name a few. Along with production partner Amethyst he brings this Breaks/Dubstep hybrid.
Yet another transition track from down under in the form of this Philly Blunt edit of Harlem Shake. From Breaks to Trap and back again with all the ghetto booty you can handle, this is just grimey!
And finally for a nice healthy dose of the 808 is just what the doctor ordered! Sychosis drops this remix of Swith featuring Andrea Martin’s I Still Love You has a solid groove to support the gorgeous vocal. And enough beat to keep your booty movin.
