Ok… So there were these two rabbits, both eating toasted sandwiches…

The first one, for arguments sake, called “Geoff“, sticks with his tried and tested ham and cheese sandwich… And why not? You cannot go wrong with that classic combination of meat and dairy.

Generally we recommend a farm house cheddar most likely coupled with a quality Wiltshire ham off the bone. Perhaps with a slice of lettuce to shake things up and I’d personally add a dollop of chutney but each to their own.

Anyway, the second rabbit, “José” tries a bite of the delicious ham and cheese sandwich and then tries a cheese and tomato sandwich…

It was probably your standard cheese and tomato sandwich if you must know which is generally better served with a milder cheese, preferably grated, with fully ripened tomatoes and is recommended for younger folks and those with a predisposition for the colour beige… I digress…

So… the second rabbit, José is halfway through the second sandwich when he suddenly collapses and starts to roll around in agony… One can only assume that this was the kind of agony comparable to that of stubbing ones toe on the corner of a table… Or accidentally urinating on an electric fence.

“What’s wrong?” exclaims Geoff, the first rabbit… and with his last breath, José, the second rabbit squeals…

“Mixing my toasties!”

He is now dead.
