Well known punk of the Australian glitchhop scene down under, the collaboration came about as the first part of his “Collaborative Endeavours” series. Giving it away free because of ponies and unicorns, 2 of down under’s big players got into the studio at the end of 2012 and this is what popped out – psychedelic tech-funk badness. Axel Virr aka Youthful Implants is no stranger to the decks as well as the studio, formerly partner and co-promoter of Supatronix UK. Tech master and Melbourne based Will Marshall, is famous for his Ableton skills and templates used through out the land making it easier for all of us…these 2 know how to tango!
Traptastic! Hungarian, twin brothers Dublic have done it again. DJs and producers from the underground scene of Budapest and not tying themselves to a particular genre, here we have 2 very different mashups. ‘Knas Cannon’ is a rude hair raiser to get the floor jumping, while ‘Gravel Pit’ Intro is a euphoric piece of ambient bass.
As if that wasn’t enough, they have unleashed their ‘Spring Shot’ mixtape which included a mammoth 70 tracks in 53mins. Proper, grimy, trap, sunshine music! This has got to be heard.
