About Us

LifeSupportMachine.co.uk is the emergency room for broken beats and ill basslines. The popular website features quality beats, mixes, mash-ups and mishaps for DJs and music lovers alike, all freely available to download.

Our Audiology unit specialises in electro-funk therapy, wonky bangers and wobbly-knees. House, Fidget, Post-Dubstep, Ghetto-Breaks, Nu-Jungle, Disco-Bass, Moombahton… Whatever your buzz, you’ll find it here.

So many awesome artists giving away awesome free music these days and you’ll only find the sickest pon our ward. We don’t post official releases “for promotional purposes”. We only post bootleggy unreleased naughty stuff, edits, or original tunes being give away by the artists themselves.

Meet the Team:

Louise ‘Fifties’ O’Donnell (Editor): Born in an Irish field – DJ, owner of JuiceBox Designs and radio show host, Louise went out into the world with one mission in mind, to hunt down big phat bass lines and share them with the masses. Dedicated to finding new music she is always on the trail of new talent as well as the big playas.

Julie-Anne Murphy: Scottish midget laydee DJ, producer, tech tutor located in Devon UK. Ju comes spring loaded with a super healthy noise obsession, making it her business to source the slickest freshly squeezed bass toxic weaponry.

Hugo Horvath AKA Kid Chameleon: KidChameleon has written for a number of blogs over the past few years learning his trade writing for thisisbreak.com and 720Bass. Leading the way during the early days of future jungle he was taken on board by a blog of the same name. He eventually found his creative writing home with LifeSupportMachine.co.uk.

DJ Chamber: Bass Kitchen head honcho, voted ‘Best New DJ’ at the 2011 Breakspoll awards, this pioneering wizkid hopes to one day be invited to open a new branch of Lidl.

Alex Dias AKA Sychosis: DJ / Producer from California, this mentally deranged, psych ward escapee was brought on board after writing Mr No Hands a manifesto on the importance of not eating fried foods before the rave. He hopes to someday own his own taco stand on dark side of the moon.

J Simpson: Came to earth when his time machine was pulled through a wormhole by an android-Kate Bush impersonator in Stockport… His only mission now is to find electronic noise of the perfect frequency to rip a hole in the space time continuum and return home…

Want to join the collective? Simply send us 50 words describing your socks. SERIOUSLY. We’d love to have a few more contributing writers on board and its not a bad thing to have on your CV. Apply within.
